Jeff Carson was an American country music star and policer officer who died on Saturday  March 26, 2022

Carson was best known for his hits songs Yeah Buddy, Not on Your Love and The Car which earned him his first Academy of Country Music Video of the Year award.

Carson began his music career in church, joined band in Arkansas and later relocated to Nashville to begin recording demos.

Carson retired from music in 2009 to pursue his other dream of being a police officer.

He instinctively settled with the Franklin Police Department in Williamson County.

He stayed as officer until his death occurred.

He was surrounded by his family specifically his wife, Kim Cooper Carson and son Dayton Grei Herndon Carson.
